The CLYDEUNION S & N Pumps Dedicated Overboard Preload Submersible Pump is designed to handle high volume preload applications. The pump preloads quickly and efficiently while eliminating extreme wear and tear on the rigs’ submersible raw water utility pumps. All casing parts are Cast Iron as a standard. The pump incorporates wear resistant SS (Stainless Steel) shaft and connecting elements and features silicon-carbide, double mechanical shaft sealing. Both seals are cooled and lubricated by medical grade white oil. The pump is equipped with replacable seal rings resulting in minimized expenses for spare parts. The submersible three phase rewindable wet stator motors are wound with high-temperature resistant PE2 wiring The power supply cable is designed for maximum mechanical load and is sealed against water pressure from the pumped liquid. It is equipped with two maintenance-free ball bearings. The upper bearing is filled with high-quality grease and the lower bearing is oil lubricated. The motor is suitable for continous operation under full load in immerged and completely emmerged conditions.
