S&N Pump Plans for Next Wave of Growth

 

S&N Pump Africa, Lda. grows significantly in Cabinda Angola: Creating Partnerships and Sustaining Employee Growth with Additional Staff and Extensive Training


Cabinda, Angola - April 12, 2007 -- As part of an on-going effort to advance it's mission as the global leader in supply and repair of submersible pumps for the offshore oil and gas industry, S&N Pump affiliate company, S&N Pump Africa, Lda., has signed contracts with Ameron Fiberglass Pipe and Wilden Pump Company to maintain local stock and supply for the country of Angola.

Employee Additions and "More" Training

S&N Pump Africa, Lda. is pleased to announce the addition of Heldemar Guimaraes, who has joined the Sales Engineering staff in the Luanda office. Mr. Heldemar Guimaraes has over 8 years experience in the offshore drilling industry.

"We are very excited about his addition into our our ever increasing Angolan staff," expresses Karen Draper.

Heldemar will be traveling to California to attend Wilden Pump University, then to Houston, TX, S&N Pump Company Headquarters, for training. In May, Antonio Roque, Training Manager of IRD Balancing Company, will be visiting the Cabinda facility to train personnel on vibration analysis and balancing.

In July, Heldemar and Manuel Lombo, Lead Mechanical Foreman at S&N Pump Africa's Cabinda Facility, will attend training at Ameron Fiberglass in Holland; after which they will both travel to Germany for training at the Wilo EMU Pump factory.

S&N Pump Africa, Lda. is currently undergoing Workshop/Personnel Certification by U.L. for Explosion Proof Motor Repairs, which should be completed by August 1, 2007. Antonio Vieria, Lead Electrical Foreman, will attend school for EU Explosion Proof Motors in Dubai in September for BASEEFA (EU) Certification.
