The CLYDEUNION S&N Pumps “SON” line of pumps are custom manufactured. All pump casing parts are powder coated Cast Iron, Bronze, or NAB (Nickel-Aluminum Bronze) as a standard. Duplex SS (Stainless Steel) is optional. The Vertical Lineshaft pump features a flanged, fabricated steel or fiberglass discharge case. Impellers are locked to the shaft with 316 SS or K-500 Monel collets and are dynamically balanced to minimize vibration and maximize service life. Replaceable SAE 660 Bronze neck rings provide additional protection against wear. Phenolic backed cutless rubber bearings or Vesconite bearings are consistently lubricated by the pumped liquid, helping reduce failures and maintenance. The pump features high-grade PSQ (Pump Shaft Quality) 316 SS or K-500 Monel for high HP applications. The assembly is equipped with Zinc or Aluminum anodes for Cathodic Protection against Electrolysis.
