TITLE: CLYDEUNION Pumps Acquires S&N Pump Company
CLYDEUNION Pumps, when formed in 2008 from the joining of Clyde Pumps (formerly the Weir Pumps Glasgow business) and Union Pump, quickly created a vision to become a $1 Billion company by 2011. We’re on the verge of achieving this goal with sales across our business units increased by 250%; joint ventures in place in China, Brazil and India; a new business unit just launched that targets the minerals & mining market; a significantly extended aftermarket network; and over 20 new product ranges launched since 2008.
We’re pleased to announce another key part of our growth plan with the acquisition of the leading offshore drilling and production services company, S&N Pump Company. S&N Pump Co. is headquartered in Houston, Texas and has operations in the UK, Africa, Singapore, and the Middle East. S&N Pump Company has been providing advanced seawater lift systems and related accessories to the offshore drilling and production industry for more than fifty years. They are recognized as a world leader in offshore seawater supply, specializing in the design, manufacture and repair of submersible pumps, motors, and vertical turbines.
This newly formed business will operate under the brand name of CLYDEUNION S&N Pumps.
